Select a clock system for your organisation

Choose from Wired & Wireless Clock Systems and Time Servers

Bodet Time offers several types of Clock Systems. With every clock and networked device across your organisation displaying exactly the same accurate time, you increase efficiency. The automatic Summer / Winter changeover also means a reduction in maintenance costs.

CLOCKS & CLOCKS SYSTEMSREFERENCES

Synchronised, accurate time across your organisation using the best technology for your needs

For a refurbishment or in an existing building, we recommend our new state-of-the-art Wireless Clock System. For a new building, either a Wired Clock System or a Wireless Clock System would be suitable, depending on your requirements. If you have many networked devices on an existing IT network or require pinpoint accuracy, we would recommend our Time Server.

Time synchronisation methods include using a Master Clock to send Impulse or AFNOR signals via cables, and wireless solutions where a Master Clock broadcasts DHF radio waves. Another option is NTP (Network Time Protocol), a type of network protocol used to synchronise both clocks and additional devices across an existing data network. This can be provided either via a Master Clock, or a Time Server. We also offer standalone clocks which can be synchronised individually.

Master Clocks

Both Bodet Time's Wired and Wireless Clock Systems use a Master Clock to send time signals to your individual slave clocks, maintaining their accuracy.

A Master Clock is a programmable unit able to transmit reliable, consistent time data to a network of clocks. It can also control Bell Systems, and building systems such as lighting, heating and air conditioning. Our licence free Sigma Software lets you configure all of these elements from a PC without needing to access settings on the Master Clock directly.

Master Clocks come with an antenna which can receive a radio signal, such as GPS. A GPS system ensures accuracy by using a network of 24 satellites with global coverage. A good reception of three satellites is sufficient for accuracy greater than one microsecond.

Our Master Clocks are also available with FI (France), DCF (Germany) and MSF (United Kingdom) aerials.

A wired alternative to Master Clocks are our Time Servers, which allow you to send a time signal to additional devices on a network, in addition to clocks. Time Servers are used in time critical organisations such as Air Traffic Control, Trading Offices and Security Services.
